And the Endorphins kick in...when?

Who ever said that, "Working out gives you this great endorphin kick! It helps with insomnia, depression...just great!" are the same lying fuckers who said that going from 1 kid to 2 kids is easier than 0 kids to 1kid.

So I'm on week 4 of my Areo Pilates (Google it and you can see the actual machine I'm using) workout/diet plan. (I'm getting paid to do this, for those of you who don't know, which is probably the only reason I'm working out) I've lost 10-11lbs, and I'm sure at least an inch and a half, but I'm SO lethargic! I feel cranky most of the time, and can't sleep. My insomnia is worse than it's ever been. This isn't unique to Pilates, I've had this same experience every time I'v started a workout program...which is probably why I don't workout much.

Oh if only it were healthier for us to eat what ever we wanted! If resistance training CAUSED Osteoporosis. If it were considered healthy AND sexy to be at least 25 pounds over our NOW reccomended weight. Gluten free diets? What's that? Oh to eat white bread, drink a beer, and eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's without flinching. Damn you health!

I was talking to a girlfriend tonight about the "Eat Right for you Blood Type". I'm A Negative, which basically means I can eat cardboard. Although it does reccomend that I do gentle exercise like Yoga and Pilates. No running, jogging, spin classes. That's something I can do!

Now if only these freaking endorphins will kick in!
