Counting
Yesterday, out of the blue, Theo started counting. He stopped at 20. Okay, so when did that happen, and how did he learn that? Oh, and I also learned today that he's pretty much completely potty trained at school. He'll only use the toilet at home when bribed with a chocolate chip. I remember Emma was the same way. She was completely potty trained at school for MONTHS, and would come home and want a diaper. She'd say, "I only potty at school, Mommy."
Anyway, it's so darn cute hearing Theo count! un, do, pee, pour, pife, dis, tebben, eight, nine, den, lebben, telve, pirteen, pourteen, pifteen, disteen, ebbenteen, nineteen, denty! (He needs a bit of prompting, but it's amazing seeing as last week I couldn't get him to count past 3! I'd been working on counting and number recognition with him on 1-5)
I love this age! They just learn at lightening speed! It's awesome.
