Emma

It's amazing how "grown up" Emma is becoming. She's so smart, and funny...for example:

Upon seeing the lights of the towns below from the airplane as we were flying from Atlanta to Huntsville, Emma stated: " Oh, look, Mommy! The lights are so beautiful! I've never seen such beautiful lights! Thank you for showing me Alabama!"

She ate with chopsticks! Granted, she used the cheaters, but she looked like this little grown up eating her noodles with chopsticks.

Emma has taken to swatting her arm at me and grunting a "Hurumph!" when she's mad. I've told her to "watch her attitude" when she does this. Now, when she does it she immediately says, "Mommy. I don't have attitude. It was that fly! It was bothering me!"

While riding in the car, Emma was playing with her Ariel doll that Grandma had gotten her. It has a plastic head, and I told her to be careful because (she was swinging it around) she might hurt Theo. Well, she did hit him, and as he started to cry she immediately said, "It's not my fault, Mommy! Ariel was swinging and the swing got out of control"
