Babysitter Wanted
Sometimes I so long for Tim to have a normal job. One in which he doesn't have a 90 mile roundtrip commute...one where he leaves the house at 8:00 and gets home at 5:00. It's been hard for me these past few weeks, and I really belive it's due to the fact that I get little to no "Kelley" time. It sucks, and my kids pay the price.
I can't afford a babysitter, or at least one who can drive a car and speak English....
And my "free" friends have lives, too.
I tried to go to our Neighborhood Watch meeting tonight, for example (I'm our block captain, so I sort of need to be at these things). Couldn't find a sitter. Packed up the kids, and their selected toys, and headed to Frank and Dean's place for the meeting. I actually HAD a question for the cop tonight. (We live 3 doors down from a convicted sex offender, and it's regarding him) The kids were being well behaved, but 5 minutes into the meeting, Theo was babbling, and one of our neighbors stood up, came over to me, and very loudly said "I can't hear! Your baby is screaming right in my ear! I'm deaf in one ear, so I can't hear". So I left. Crying. I can't even go to a lousy Neighborhood Watch meeting.
I love my kids. Adore them...most of the time. And I do love spending time with them, playing and having fun, but I need a BREAK. Do anything for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your bound to go crazy after awhile.
So, if you know of any babysitters in my area who work for free, and are just sitting by the phone waiting for me to call...let me know.
