Life with the Reischauers
We've all had the crud here in lovely Van Nuys. It all started with a trip to the ER with Theo last week. He had a little bit of the croup witch totally escalated into a severe asthma attack and him barely breathing. Tim was preparing for his colonoscopy the next day, and was therefore a bit indisposed, and I was at my acting class, but was able to rush home, give him some steroids, a breathing treatment and threw him in the car and took him to the hospital. Anyway, he must have sneezed and coughed one to many times in my face, and now I have the crud. Ugh. This horrible head flu that has been touring the country.
Tim is on his was to Louisiana to meet some folks. There are still a lot of movies coming there, and a lot of potential. We shall see... he'll be there for a week.
I find Danny Noriega on American Idol a bit annoying.
Last night we put the debate on to watch. Emma had wanted to watch Hilary Clinton. Theo is totally obsessed with Obama. It's so cute (and believe it or not, I totally did not brainwash him.) Anyway, whenever he hears Obama's voice, he runs into the room, pumping his arms in the air shouting, "Yay! Bahama!" I only had the debate on for about ten minutes and turned it off to get the kids into bed. Well, Theo's lip started quivering. He looked at me, then the TV, then me again, and said, "No, Mommy! Watch TV. Watch Bahma!". Lord, I got to get this on video and post it on UTube.
I have to go to bed early as I have my little parenting class tomorrow morning. Ugh. I've already missed one class, so I can't miss anymore or Emma gets kicked out of Preschool. Sucks. Thankfully my fever broke. I still feel like I got hit by a truck.
I'm in for a long week.
