Paper or Plastic
In a better attempt at becoming a "green" household, I bought reuseable canvas grocery bags. (Tim has had his own "set" for years) I keep them convienently tucked in the back pouch of our car so that they are always on hand if I need to pick up some food at the grocery store.
The thing is, I ALWAYS seem to forget to take the freakin' bags into the store with me!
I really think it would be great if the U.S. would charge us for shopping bags. They do this in Lithuania, and I think it's a great idea. The money earned could go towards recycling programs. Plus, I think it would really help me to remember to bring my own bags. Ughh.
