Is is just California folk, or are people everywhere forgetting their manners? I am getting a bit tired to having to beg for an R.S.V.P. It's a bit frustrating planning a menu and a budget when you have to chase down responses from people. Now, don't get me wrong, there are a few people that always respond, but they are rare gems...and usually Southern...
What's worse is when you send an E-Vite, and still no response. I see you've viewed the E-Vite, and yet, no response. Not even a maybe.
In my inner circle of friends here in LA (those few of us who still respond properly to an invitation) share the same frustration. No one RSVPs anymore! Is it just Los Angeles?

Helen's birthday party was today.
We invited 9 little girls.
4 RSVP'ed. I contacted 2 more and got replies from them. Didn't hear from the other 3, and they're from Helen's school so I didn't know how to contact the parents to find out.
Only the 3 that I knew were coming ended up coming, thank goodness.
So it's not just Los Angeles. Even the South has become contaminated with rude people.
