New Student

I am one of the newest students enrolled at Valley College (the local junior college in my neighborhood) I met with a career counselor and have decided on my new career path. (I haven't TOTALLY thrown out the idea of getting back into commercials, yet) I am on the road to obtaining a certificate which will allow me to teach preschool in the public school system. (I'll be able to teach in the private school, or even be a director after 3 quarters, so that's an option, too...just less money) I'm great working with this age group...when they're not mine, that is. Funny how amazing I am with other people's kids, but my own? I suck. I'm getting better, though.

Tomorrow I have to take my Math and English test to see which level I can take. They have assured me that there will be no Geometry on this test...and hopefully, not too many fractions. I never did well with fractions.

My classes start September 5th. I'll miss the first week since I'll still be in Huntsville. I'm not off to a very good start, am I? :-)
