And we're back

I still don't have a kitchen. The stupid, incompetent countertop people have caused huge delays in my project. Arghh...

Alabama was great! It was so nice spending time with old friends, and having constant back-up help with the kids was heavenly. Theo was HORRIBLE on the plan, but I was prepared for that. Baton Rouge was really good. I'm just about 99% positve we'll be moving there for a couple of years. I am not looking forward to leaving our community here, but I think that the career and quality of life opportunities weigh out the cons. We shall see...Tim and I haven't had 3 minutes to discuss it, so I really don't know where his head is in all this. I do know he hates working 80 hours every week (M-F), and that he is ready for a change.

I started school, and dropped 2 of my 3 classes. The first was a very interesting class, but consisted of a lot of group projects. I do not like group projects. Especially when it would be me and a group of 18 year olds who would say things similar to "Like, you know, kids really like to play with crayons, and like markers, too" The other class I never attended. I'm a bit overwhelmed by how much work needs to be done on the house, and really think I just bit off more than I could chew.

So that's that. Back to the daily grind. I'm hoping the kitchen will be complete next Friday or Saturday. We've added a couple of other projects which are much less invasive, and less time consuming.

JUST LAST NIGHT, I mentioned to E that I was wondering how your trip went... and if you were moving ONLY 8 HOURS FROM ME... and here you are, posting as if you heard me asking. :)

Sorry about the kitchen.
Good for you for dropping classes.
YAY that you're 99% gonna move closer! :)
