Back on my Soap Box...
This time, it's not political.
Why do parents take their small children to rated R movies?! Lord help me. I swear, this pisses me off almost more than anything. Tim and I went to the movie "Wanted" and got to sit next to a maybe 4 year old. And this was the 9:00 showing, by the way, which is another thing that totally irks me! (I really like the movie, by the way, so much fun!) Tonight I saw "Hankcock" with my girlfriend. Yes,this one is PG 13, but again, 3 year olds, 4 year olds sitting there. The action, the violence, the number of times "Asshole" was dropped. Okay, I'm no prude, but come on parents! Sheesh! I know some movie theatres have an age limit for Rated R movies. (I went APE when a Mom was dragging her little 3 year old to see Passion Of The Christ... at the 10:30 showing!! I actually got them rejected from entering.) So that's my peeve for the moment.
If you cannot afford a sitter, then wait until you can! Okay?
I forgot to mention that although I really do love Will Smith, I so did not like Hancock. They totally "Jumped the Shark" about 2/3rds through. Hey, but when it's free, ya can't complain! Had I had to spend the 12 bucks on it, I'd be bumming.
