Brighter Days Ahead

Today, I managed not to let my anger get ahold of me. I start my new meds tomorrow, so I think just knowing that I'll be feeling better soon is putting me in a much better emotional place.

I also signed up for this career seminar which I've really been wanting to take, and I'm going to work with my friend who happens to be a "life coach". Between those 2 things, my meds, and some talk therapy, I'm hopeful I'll stop feeling like an empty shell that's "playing the role of Kelley".

2 exciting things happened to me this week. Well, I had my first audition, got a call back, and am now on "First Avail" which means I'm one of the actors they want to cast, so it will just come down to height, if they want a blonde, etc. Also, I have an audition tomorrow for another national commercial. This one is for an anti depressant! How is that for timing? I must portray "inward pain, loneliness, sadness, someone who's withdrawn". Consider it done! Won't even have to "act" for that one.

And to wrap things up, I found this just perfect. My call back today was at the same location as the Jack-in-the-Box commercial I did. My last job finished where, hopefully, my first job back in the game begins. A nice circle.
