My Brother Rocks!
You all know how much I adore my brother, and once again I'm reminded of one of the many reasons why. If you missed "The Colbert Report" last night, YouTube it. Rush was on and played one of my top 3 favorite songs of theirs.
Yes, having an older brother who has impeccable taste in music was a blessing growing up! Thanks to him, I avoided the pit falls of many tweens of the 80's: no New Kids On The Block in MY house. It was Rush, Journey, Hendrix, Kiss, Aerosmith... (Kiss was our first concert, by the way. I was, what... 6?)
I've yet to see Rush live in concert, so watching the man who inspired me to attempt at becoming a drummer on TV last night was truly a treat.

I still love Rush too...thanks to Toby and Joe! And it brings back a flood of memories whenever I hear them.
