The Shoot
Today was my wardrobe fitting for the Commercial. Frankly, I'm pretty happy I've lost 6 pounds over the past 3 weeks because my running shorts are tight tight tight and way too short for my comfort level. Ah... nothing like showing some skin (and stretch marks if your look close enough) on National Television. (I'm playing the role of "a jogger" in this spot)
We had to get approval of our final wardrobe choice from the director and the clients (who are all easily 5 years younger than I am, and SUPER cool!)
While they were looking us up and down one of the clients asked the director (who's also incredibly cool) if the guy standing next to me "was going to be the one jumping out of the car?" Another asked who was going to be pushing the ice cream truck?
So there are trucks being pushed and people jumping out of cars... should I be a tad concerned?
I have no clue what to expect. It's a bit unnerving for me, as I'm a huge preparer for everything. Not one storyboard, nothing.
I'm excited!

Wow! Things sure happen fast in the acting world! Didn't you just book the spot yesterday? And you are already prancing around in jogging shorts? I'm excited for you, but appearing on national tv in short shorts would be my worst nightmare!! You'll look like a million dollars though!!
