School Lunch
I'm having a hard time adjusting to this new school schedule. Getting up at 6:20 am is no fun for me. I'm NOT a morning person, never have been, never will.
I've been making Emma's lunch at night, and pre-setting my coffee pot, so that does help, but coming up with creative lunch box and snack menus is not my forte.
Imagine my surprise when I just checked the school lunch menu for the LAUSD, and found that it is actually healthy! No kidding! Only whole grains, fresh fruit and fresh veggies. For $1.00 a lunch, I'm thinking Emma might just have to eat cafeteria food a couple of times a week.

Healthy school lunches? Maybe we'll transfer to your district. If our school lunches were healthy and vegetarian, I'd have the girls purchase them every day.
