2 Points of View
Over to the right, you'll notice links to 2 new blogs under the title: POLITICAL
My friend Sue (from the Right) has started a new blog. We've been posting essays (I hesitate to call mine essays) from her conservative, and my liberal perspective. Our latest post is of our reviews of the VP debate.
I've challenged, and she's accepted, us to something that's going to probably be rather difficult. I'm going to write a "pro" McCain/Palin essay, and she'll take on the Obama/Biden ticket. Although she's going to have a MUCH easier time than I am. (kidding, Sue, kidding!)
The reason for this? Well, I'm only seeing the negatives of a McCain/Palin ticket. In fact, I've become very afraid of the thought of them running our Country. I know others that feel the exact same of the Obama/Biden ticket. I really can't think of anything that will prove more educational than if she and I put our current views aside, and look at the opposing candidates in a new light.
I'm sure this will prove very enlightening.
I'm certain it will not change my vote, nor Sue's, however, I'm hoping it will make me less afraid of the thought of "them" winning, and will perhaps stop my mind from trying to decide if I can survive Canadian Winters should the outcome of Nov. 4th, not be what I'm working towards.
