And the Decision is.....

We're moving. Tim and I went to dinner last night, weighed out the pros and cons, and we feel the gamble is worth it! I'm nervous and excited. I'm not one that loves change, and I'm really shy, so having to build a new community of friends will be tough, but the timing is right. We're going to rent our house, so if it sucks, we'll have a house to come home to. (I just hope the renters will take care of the new kitchen that I will only get to enjoy for 9 months!) Finding a pre-school for Theo online will be tough. I found two places online that actually look pretty amazing. They seem to be a bit more academic than I care for, but we'll see. Now, we just have to get Emma into the magnet school in Baton Rouge. It's a visual and performing arts magnet (which is TOTALLY up Emma's alley!). They center all learning around music and the arts. She will totally thrive in that type of environment. There are only 60 slots, so if she doesn't get in, we'll move to an area called Prairieville were all the schools are good.

So, I'll be and 8 hour drive from Huntsville (woohoo!), and from Stacy (whom I've never met, but cannot.wait.to!!)

wow, I know that must have been a difficult choice. Getting out of LA will give you some new perspective and will always be there if you want to go back. The food down in Red Stick (and that part of the world) is fantastic. I would only offer this advice- DO NOT TELL ANYONE THAT YOU ARE LEAVING LA. Of course your friends and family should know, but don't make a big announcement to professional associates or anyone like that. I still get calls every once in a while and I just tell them that I'm working on a show in Lithuania and will get in touch when I get back to LA. We'll talk more about it next week. Looking forward to seeing you...

OH MY. Really? Wow. What a decision! Well, I'm really really happy for you. Even though it's scary, just having a decision made is HUGE.
Let the preparations begin!

Yay!! I know it feels so good to have made the decision. Nothing's worse than being in limbo.

You know what I think?? Stacy/Elaine Reunion at Kelly's! :D

Can't wait to meet you, too.

Wow! Best of luck. I hate the process of the move itself, but it's so exciting to start fresh in life.
