I AM a sissy

I don't consider myself to be a "girlie-girl". I like snakes, sports, and am not afraid to get dirty. However, there is one thing that will send me screaming, and that is a cricket. I.HATE.CRICKETS! Yes, I know I'm about 45,000 times bigger than a cricket, but they are unpredictable and they jump! Growing up in Alabama, I hated going into the kitchen at night for water because there would always be a family of camel crickets just waiting to jump at me in the sink! Now, as I sit here in our office, I can hear one jumping, and I having to work very hard to compose myself and not run screaming from the room because the kids are asleep, and Emma, being a girlie-girl, would probably want to catch it and show it to me, or even worse, keep it for a pet. Ughh....
