LOL-the secret shorthand
Okay. So I'm 34 going on 72. Seriously. I've missed the class on this new fangled text messaging short hand. My brother laughs at me because in my E-mail Subject line I use RE: (insert what my E-mail is about). All these years, I've thought that it meant "regarding". I missed the message that it now means "respond". And LOL. Well, I thought it meant "Lots of Love". I couldn't for the life of me figure out what ROFLOL meant. And being a "blog stalker" I sometimes can't figure out what all the abreviations are. My brother told me a funny story, which totally reminds me of me. Kira Sedgwick was on some late night show telling a story about how she would text her son before an exam at school: "I know you'll do great! LOL Mom" She always thought she was saying "Lots of Love".
And E-Bay. What's up with those "shorthand abreviations"? Sheesh. I have figured out NWT & NWOT, but some of them? Forget it.
I'm feeling old, people. I want a cell phone that will just call people, and will perhaps have voice mail. I don't need to take pictures with my phone, order out, text, what ever. I guess it's a good thing I married someone who's almost 50. I can just be "old" with him.
And on a side note...I LOVE the Peyton Manning "Pep Talk" commercials! That boy is funny!

I'd never heard the term "SAHM" until you invited me to read your blog. I asked what it meant in the comments...
